Today it has been raining. All day. Last week we had 7.5" of rain here in Evansville and the surrounding area. Evansville is situated right on the Ohio River for those of you who don't know and with all the rain and the rain of places upriver, it has overflowed almost 2 miles over its banks. Crazy I know!!! :) Today they were calling for 2" or so and right now Weatherbug says its 1.41". That, my friends, is a LOT of rain at one time! I'm pondering buying a small boat of some sort.... Lemme know what you think.
Also, we recently took Caleb to the Pediatrician for a checkup and he weighed 9'11 and was still only 21 1/2" long. Everything looked great and we praise the Lord for another healthy baby. Phebe just went this past Monday and is 33 lbs and was 35" tall!! The Ped. said that with her height (comparable to that of a 3-4 year old!!!!) she could probably gain a few more pounds and still not be overweight! Now, for those of you who have held my daughter in the past, you might be thinking, "WHAT?! That kid is a CHUNK!" and you're right, she is. :) But we can officially say that she is not FAT. Hallelujah. ;)
On a side note, I want to say HI! to my friend Keni who is supposed to be reading this sometime in the next day or two. :) So, Hi Keni. :)
I have posted some recent pictures of Caleb and the other kids for your visual amusement. The pics of all three of the children are from Easter. That was a fiasco! :) You can imagine trying to get three kids to sit still...of course Caleb was not a problem but the other two acted like they'd already been into the Easter candy and it wasn't even 10 AM! Anyway, we did the best we could with what we had to work with - wiggly, giggly, slightly tired, otherwise normal kids. :) You parents out there know how it is! :) TTFN!
